Electronic Universe Inc emphasizes on building innovative B2B exchanges, extranets and intranets, and B2C e-commerce web stores. Some of our work can be seen in the popular entertainment Networks, Telecommunications and Banking front-end application. Financial-Applications related software development and consulting, mission-critical backend servers for handling user transactions, front-end graphical interfaces for displaying financial data, among others. Following is the glimpse of some of our experiences in the last three years since the inception of Electronic Universe Inc.

One of our projects of DB2 Tools Development which we performed at IBM Labs in California, involved our team in developing Data Management Tools with Mainframe programming in S/390 using PL1, ISPF Assembler and/or PL/X expertise. We have been providing on-going  Support to IBM legacy customers of large size across the Globe in this project.

In another project we provided 24x7 Network Support, Maintenance and Upgrade Expertise to many Large, Medium and even small size companies through out United States. This involved Microsoft Windows NT & Windows 2000-XP-2003 Migration with Active Directory set-up, Network System Upgrades, Maintenance and system Administrator functions.

Our recent project was Web Applications Migration at Chevron Texaco from Windows NT 4.0 to Windows 2000 Our team has been working to develop the migration process of 900+ web based applications from Windows NT 4 to W2K/IIS 5. Integration and migration of current web applications, applications from former Texaco servers and new applications. Moved web applications from NT 4 to W2K and IIS 5. Provided written documentation for configuring Web components installed/configured, tested and processed documenation. Worked in a LAB environment with other migration analysts.

A Micro Focus COBOL Transition project at Chevron Texaco has been completed in an environment with Micro Focus Cobol, Cobol II, JCL, CICS , DB2, MVS, TSO/SPE
Provided Micro Focus Mainframe (MFE) support for some of the older Micro Focus help an individual transition from old to new with the team. Took well-written internal specifications and coded multiple Cobol modules and unit test each module.

SmallTalk, OOD, VisualWorks, Oracle, ENVY development project at Qwest Communications was delivered over  28-months. Project details include FRSR - Frame Relay Service Request is a client-server customer care system that is intended to create and maintain requests for Frame Relay Service, a fast-packet-based, connection-oriented service provided by Qwest. Smalltalk - VisualWorks 3.0 is being used for client application's development and Oracle 7.3 as a database. ENVY/Manager is being used to manage the software development. Responsibilities include development and testing of FRSR application, providing application support as well as production support. These applications are being developed using Smalltalk - MVC architect and a FrameWork developed by Qwest's development teams.

Another part of the project at Qwest has been in PNMCD- Proactive Notification of Missed Critical Dates - Developed an application to generate notification for sales force when an order is missing certain critical dates in the ordering and provisioning by using VisualWorks 3.0 as a development environment.  It's a headless image running randomly on UNIX system. Automated processing was run and these runs used Unix Scripts, Perl Scripts, SQL Scripts and Focus Scripts to update FRSR database and to generate reports.

In the Pharmaceutical & Health industry we have helped design & develop (PIMS) Foundation Compliance for Kaiser Permenante and provided services for various projects like e-Refill, it is a web application provides facility to refill the Prescription. And KP-CIS and other releases. PIMS (Pharmacy information and management system) application has been used for Out Patient. Our team Role was to perform Quality Assurance. We reviewed Business Requirements Documents and the Technical Specifications and participating with users to implement test requirements and testing analysis. We developed Test architecture, Web testing e-Refill, Developed scripts to perform functional tests, content retrieval to test database tables, data validation, writing Test plans, which detailed the testing scope, strategy, test requirements, and other necessary resources. We also documented test cases based on corresponding business /user requirements documents & technical specification and other operating conditions.Performed White Box and End-to-End testing manually. Performed Regression testing using Win runner 7.1 Closely worked with respective personnel to nail down the bugs. We used customized bug-reporting tool to create TRs. Environment was Windows NT, Cobol 85, Tandem and Guardian 90 using a SQL/MP database and Enscribe file System.

One of the projects we have delivered was for Warehouse Management System again at Kaiser Permanente and their Warehouse Management System (WMS) was developed for managing inventory transactions between the Warehouse and medical facilities. Medical Facilities place orders for drugs to the warehouse, using Web Interface Ariba BUYER. POs are pushed to WMS using middle ware MQ Series and are picked up by the WMS (Interface to Ariba) for Customer Screening Process. WMS determines the Maximum Daily Allowable for a particular customer and allocates the orders based on the availability of the drugs.Our team wrote interface between Ariba BUYER and WMS using PowerBuilder to finalize business logic for Customer Screening Process. We used stored Procedures and Triggers extensively to implement business Logic after analyses of user requirements to enhance the existing system. They further prepared Test Plans and documentation, imported Data from File Maker Pro and integrate the Purchase module in WMS. The environment was PowerBuilder, SQL Server, MQ Series
