Electronic Universe in Torrance, CA is seeking Software Engineer Business Intelligence to Perform multi dimensional analysis for analytical processing using Microsoft & ORACLE on VLDB & Data Warehouses;  create robust data loading processes and computer programs using ETL tools. Enhance reporting capabilities and analytical processes for analysis of data from different source systems and provide online intelligence using OLAP for business users & management to make better decisions.  Must have MS in CS or BCS and 2 year experience as job offered. Participate in gathering user requirements, and creating application specifications; interact with clients, mitigate risks, resolve issues, perform ongoing sustaining maintenance & enhancements for applications; Develop test plan & complete documentatation; Provide technical leadership, write technical requirements, deployment & communications with user and team members. Electronic Universe in Torrance, CA is seeking Software Engineer to Design, develop and implement a Point of Sale Systems Application in conjunction with an Inventory System specifically for warehouse application usage, written in Microsoft Visual Basic 5.0; Create a solution to provide a Wide Area Network (WAN) - large scale Operating System deployment in multiple sites, using Windows NT 4.0 Enterprise edition combined with Microsoft legacy technologies such as IIS 4.0, MS Proxy, Exchange 5.5. ; Provide documentations in relation to Applications and Systems design.  Must have BS in CS or Psychology and 2 years experience as job offered; or as system engineer or system developer with 2years experience as job offered.  Ref. Title:                  Sr. Net Developer

Estimated Length:       12 months

 

Responsibilities: 

Candidate will work under the Supervision of the Project Leader and the

Application Architect assigned for the project.

Candidate will need to have good experience and qualifications in the

following areas:

·          5+ years of IT Industry Experience

·          4+ years in Web Development

·          2+ years in ASP.NET 1.1/2.0

·          4+ years in C# 2.0

·          1 year or more in Familiarity with Spring.Net framework

·          1-2+ years in Web Portal / Web Parts development using Visual Studio 2005

·          2+ years in Experience with UML and Software Modeling tools (preferably Rational)

·          3+ years in HTML, DHTML, Strong in JavaScript, CSS

·          1+ year in Microsoft AJAX

·          1+ years in Extensive experience with Stored Procedure development with relational databases like DB2 UDB

·          3+ years in Experience in Object Oriented Development

·          1-2+ years in Experience in Iterative or Agile development methodologies

·          Strong experience in Unit Testing/Test Driven Design, Integration Testing, and Stress/Load Testing using Mercury Test Director and Load Runner. Experience with source control systems (preferably Rational Clear Case)

·          Candidate should have experience working in large projects with larger teams and developing enterprise class systems.

·          Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
